Eclipse Product Warranty
Warranty for Eclipse® Office Furniture
We are confident that you will appreciate the fine quality and craftsmanship of your selection. Eclipse® stands proudly behind each and every product we manufacture and we guarantee our work with a Three (3) / (5) years limited warranty as described below. We appreciate your business and look forward to your business in the years ahead. In order to provide you with timely assistance, please thoroughly inspect your furniture for missing of defective parts immediately after opening the carton. To receive replacement or missing parts under this warranty, call our Customer Service Department on (08)94933776. Please have your sales receipt or other proof of purchase available in case information from it is required
Our goods come with guarantees that cannot be excluded under the Australian Consumer Law. You are entitled to a replacement or refund for a major failure and for compensation for any other reasonably foreseeable loss or damage. You are also entitled to have the goods repaired or replaced if the goods fail to be of acceptable quality and the failure does not amount to a major failure.
Eclipse® products are warranted to the original purchaser at the time of purchase and for a period of three (3) years or (5) depending on product thereafter.
We warrant to you, the original purchaser, that our furniture and all of its parts and components are free of defects in material or workmanship. "Defects", as used in this warranty, is defined as any imperfections which impair the use of the furniture or product. Our warranty is expressly limited to the replacement of furniture parts and components. For three (3) / (5) years after the date of purchase of your product, Eclipse® will replace any part described on the enclosed Furniture Parts List that is defective in material or workmanship.
This warranty applies under conditions of normal use. Our furniture products are not intended for outdoor use.
The warranty does not cover:
· defects caused by improper assembly or disassembly by the customer;
· damage arising from transport or delivery of the goods where this has been organised by the customer;
· defects occurring after purchase due to product modification, intentional damage, accident, misuse, abuse, negligence or exposure to the elements;
· cosmetic damage;
· labour or assembly costs.
Except as provided herein Eclipse® makes no express warranties, and any implied warranty, including without limitation any implied warranty of merchantability or fitness for a particular purpose, is limited in its duration to the duration of the written limited warranty set forth herein.
Except as provided herein, Eclipse® shall have no liability or responsibility to the purchaser or any other person or entity with respect to any liability, loss of damage caused or alleged to be caused directly or indirectly by use of the product, including, but not limited to, any incidental or consequential damages. Some states do not allow limitation on how long an implied warranty lasts or the exclusion of limitation of incidental or consequential damages, so the above limitation and exclusion may not apply to you. This warranty gives you specific legal rights. You may also have other rights which vary from state to state.
Warranty claim procedure within the Perth metropolitan area
To make a claim under this warranty, you must:
· first call Eclipse® on (08)9493 3776 to notify them of your claim;
· advise us the details of the product, original purchase order number and the location of the product (at customers premises or at Perth metro warehouses).
We will organise our service technician to inspect the product and determine the remedial action required.
Warranty claim procedure outside the Perth metropolitan area
Our warranty is “Back to Base", this means the customer is responsible for transporting (including packaging, postage, transportation and insurance costs) the faulty product to and from our Kenwick warehouse with proof of purchase in the form of a sales receipt, including date and place of purchase. Damage caused during transportation by failing to package the product correctly will not be covered by the warranty.

· advise us the details of the product, original purchase order number.
